In recent years, China’s market for heat pump water heaters has achieved rapid development through its emphasis on “saving energy and reducing emissions”, and has maintained steady growth since 2009. Today, the main market for heat pump water heaters in China is south of the Yangtze River, and has been largely concentrated in the South and East China regions. However, development bottlenecks in the industry have become more obvious by the day. Currently, ordinary air-conditioning compressors are used in the majority of heat pump water heaters, but these water heaters are limited by ambient temperature, and the useful life of the products is far from satisfactory.
Flake-ice machines are important in the cold chain for food products. In recent years, with the continued increase in people’s living standard in China and an ever-increasing focus on food safety, there has been a large growth in market demand for ice machines and industrial development of the cold chain. Each segment within the food industry has specific requirements for ice quality for different uses. To offer an excellent ice result is the quality guarantee from flake ice machine manufacturers. As a core refrigeration component in flake ice machines, the choice of the compressor is key to the success or failure of the ice quality.
With the powerful interface, fast & easy setup and Modbus ready, the newly launched EKE 347 could help you upgrade the local control to the next level.Danfoss now launches a new series liquid level controller – EKE 347. It is used for regulation of the liquid level. The controller is connected with a level sensor that continuously measures the liquid level in the vessel/reservoir. With the user friendly interface and remarkable network connectivity capabilities, EKE 347 upgrades the control to a new level.
With today’s rapid development in global industrial technology and higher demands for product quality from end users, equipment manufacturers in the industrial processing sector are carefully selecting suppliers who can both supply high-quality products and provide first-class technical service, so as to gain a firm foothold in the global market. Piovan, consistently among the world’s leading manufacturers of auxiliary equipment in the plastics processing industry, selected Danfoss from a large pool of suppliers to supply the compressors and other refrigeration components used in its injection moulding compressor products. Danfoss’ partnership with Piovan was established on the back of a global reputation for high-quality compressor products, a full range of refrigeration parts, and efficient first-rate technical services.
WASHINGTON, D.C. – On November 5, 2014, Danfoss convened its 22nd EnVisioneering Symposium, “Refrigerants2Sustainability,” which focused on the complex challenges reshaping the refrigeration landscape. National policy and global concerns for ozone depletion remapped the industry with the Montreal Protocol. Today, the problem is climate change – driven by both leaked and vented high global warming potential (GWP) refrigerants and energy-intense refrigeration systems.
Recently, the Norwegian Climate and Energy Minister Tine Sundtoft attended the opening of a new store Kiwi in Auli in Norway. The setup by Danfoss and Carrier is a supermarket refrigeration platform using CO2 as refrigerant – a 100% green total store solution. The 1,300 square meter large store expects to save 50% on electricity – a reduction similar to 100 private homes.
